Care instructions

Looking for a sneaker that is machine washable and still won't lose its shape? Good news: all our shoes are machine washable. To prepare, remove the laces and insoles, place your Allbirds in a laundry bag (pro tip: pillowcases are also a good alternative) and throw them in the washing machine. Choose a delicate cycle with cold water and your favorite gentle detergent. Don't put your shoes in the dryer after washing, but shake out the excess water and let them air dry. Do your shoes need a little more care? Then simply get a new pair of laces and insoles.

Just another overpriced sneaker

I bought the TD2 M1 two years ago and always wore them to the office. Now the upper is torn in a small spot, rendering the shoe dead. The shoe is ultimately a composite of various materials glued together and not cradle-to-cradle certified, so they'll be sent to a recycling center or disposed of with general waste, likely ending up in a landfill.
